I think a hacking section would be quite beneficial. It'd also benefit the Underground community. Learning the ways of the blackhat (or even whitehat) hacker can imrpove your skills on the Internet and enhance your protection capabilities. This is why I suggest we impose a section for hacking (maybe it could include: beginners hacking, advanced hacking, hacking programs, etc). Personally, I'm a recently-retired member of Hack Forums and it was quite a good forum - I learnt a lot there. Because GzP is a much greater community, I think that the members would benefit greatly from being exposed to underground material. What are your thoughts?
The idea of our current Underground section is to allow people with experience into the group. I think it's just best to have people learn on their own time. The next question that needs to be answered is who is willing to put up with helping the new ones?

On Hack Forums I was a leader of a group that aimed at teaching new members the basics of hacking and computer security. I'd definitely put my name down to teach whoever I can about the basics.
Yeah, I suppose there'd be a few more viruses floating around, but unless you're a complete downer, you should be able to figure out which files are safe. I think if it were to be created, there'd have to be very active and aggressive Moderators keeping the section clean.
Yeah, but hacking is a very general term... Getting a new windows theme is a hack by definition, so it will need to be a more specific area of hacks.
Sure, you're completely correct, which is why we'd implement sub-boards including different sections for security, white hat, black hat, botnets, keyloggers, RATs, Batch, viruses, and all that.
If we would put a section called: Viruses,Worms,Keyloggers etc.. apart from the 'Not So Bad Hacks' wouldnt that be illigal? I Mean, Lets say you teach me how to create a KeyLogger, and I Use it on a GzP moderator, This can cause problems in either the community, and Staff of GzP , Beside that, I truly admire you're idea, but maybe we can talk about LESS agressive hacks if you know what I mean.

Creating a keylogger isnt illegal, using it with malicious intent is. Most moderators on this forum wouldn't be stupid enough to fall for a keylogger, but i do agree that we shouldn't share that information because it would cause problems in the community.

If such a community existed, all programs created should be in source code form only then. Think about it:
They have to learn to compile first or they won't get anywhere so if they can't compile, they shouldn't be around in the first place.
Not having the sample programs in binary form removes the possibility of one-click execution of malicious code.
The programs are created specifically to learn from.
More experienced people can examine the program's behavior and take the relevant actions—possibly warn others if its a virus. There are plenty of ways to evade detection by virus scanners and one is to make something that the virus scanner has never seen before.
