| Registered User | hi guys, i have a couple of friends who cant update the patches because they have reformatted their computers but the warcraft is saved on another drive. This means that you will be able to run the game at that version i.e 1.20e. if you get an error which says "unable to locatewarcraftIII/installpath" than you have a problem my friend. to get rid of this you need to: 1.click start 2.press run 3.type in regedit 4.click on regedit 5.click on software 6.click on blizzard entertainment 7.click on warcraftIII 8. if you look to the right, you will see serveral registry such as Installpath,InstallpathX,...and so on. 9.all you need to do is to double click Installpath and in the value data enter :C:\program files\warcraftIII or where you have installed it hope this helps some people who reinstalled there OS :D:D P.S: ill try to get some pics later :P |
