Need help on hosting games

well i made a thread like this one 1-2months ago but noone responded to it, so im wondering if anyone could be kind enough to tell me how to create games using a router.
Its a 5 port router but with only 1 desktop and 1 laptop connected to it the internet is connected to the desktop the one i play with.

So if anyone could email the steps or just post it here, it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

Open up a command prompt and type in Ipconfig. you should recieve three things.. ip address.. net mask.. and default gateway...

There should be a small tab or bar on the top or side where it will say something along the lines of... Firewall, ports, port forwarding, security managment, etc... every manufacturer will be different...

Name: Warcraft 3 TCP port range 6112-6112

Then press enable. You may have to restart your router but most do not require this. Remember that if you have any other firewalls such as windows firewall or mcafee you will have to open the port in there as well.

Another thing to think about is that you cannot host with DSL. you must have either a cable modem or dial-up modem to host games.

In some cases your router will still be set to the default password, if your parents do not know it try looking [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for your router.

I doubt that drogba. Unless your friend has a DSL pci card or sits on top of the DSL access-point, I dont believe its possible.

I have mini lan for three pcs, pc1 create a game, pc2 and pc3 no they do not manage to enter. Another user create room, all pcs they enter, because?

All port open in pc1 and port 6100 and 6200 for pc2 and pc3, pc2 warcraft option configure for use port 6100 and pc3 configure for use port 6200.

because it is not possible to be played at the same time when one of the PCs creates room.

hey guys..i tried that method but the part where i have to type in the game name the box for me to type is too small..>.<..any1 can help me with this?..

the name of the game doesn;t have to be the full name. a simple abriviation should work.

EG:
Wc3, wartft, w3FT, war3, etc
