I was the one who said you cannot host on DSL.

On the majority of DSL you cannot host games. as a matter afact there are only three kinds of DSL i know of that have the capability to host.
those are:
VDSL (Very high Digital Subscriber Line; 12.9 to 52.8 Mbps downstream; 1.5 to 2.3 Mbps upstream; 1.6 Mbps to 2.3 Mbps downstream.... [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] networks;
Fiber to the Neighborhood)...

HDSL (High bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line; built for web hosting, e1/t1)

and finally CDSL (Splitterless home and small business service; similar to DSL Lite)

The splitterless DSL line provedes a direct link to ONE computer in your house with a dsl pci card installed.

Quest, which is a major ISP in my area, supplies a wireless DSL hub which splits the connection so that more than one computer on my network can use the internet, all of these share a single IP and make it impossible to host servers and games.

The only types of Dsl that allow you to host are either $600 a month or are for a single computer home. Both of which not many people have.

You can arange other types of DSL to allow Tcp/ip web hosting if you have a higher level of networking experience (thats not my area thats white-hats).

Oh well i have the cheap dsl from Quest. And i am hosting just fine =/ I just followed portforwarding's tutorials. Oh and for people don't look for the company's name in the list.
