| Registered User | command line Here are a few command line options for Warcraft 3 Blizzard provides, mostly for trouble shooting and game play problems. It is recomended however that Warcraft be run without these. First, be sure you have patched the game to the latest version. You can get the patch by connecting to Battle.net or by downloading a stand-alone patch from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Once the game is patched, you can right click on the Warcraft III shortcut on your desktop and choose Properties. In the target box after the last quotation, press the space bar once and type in the command lines below: Windowed Mode: Your target line should look something like "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III.exe" -window OpenGL Video Mode: Your target line should look something like "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III.exe" -opengl Software Transform and Lighting Video Mode: Your target line should look something like "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III.exe" -swtnl Start the game in Reign of Chaos Mode even though you have the expansion installed: Your target line should look something like "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Warcraft III.exe" -classicIf you experience any problems with gameplay remove the added parameter and reboot. |

I would tend to agree this should be sticked but sense this section doesn't have a Moderator the chance of an admin seeing it is kinda low. No worries, i'm sure that if someone needs one of these modes they can simple use the search function. |
