Cant patch warcraft?

help me plz with this i cant patch my warcraft
this is what i see when i try to patch it

Blizzard PrePatch v2.70 compiled on Jul 7 2003
This program patches Warcraft 3
Log created at 7:09 pm on 02/20/2006
Registry error loading key 'Warcraft III\InstallPath'
The system cannot find the file specified.

RESULT: Prepatch failed

Did u do something to ur warcraft files before this? Like overwriting them with unoriginal files?

Are you useing the auto patch or did you download the patch from a site?

If your auto downloading from B.net restart your computer and try again. if that fails re-install the game.

If you Downloaded it from a site, you most likely chose the "open with" option and closed the download manager. try redownloading from blizzards main site.

If that doesn't work I presume your playing on a cracked version and you will need to re-aply the crack.
