how to add gold command in a map?

Hi,

I'm wanting to add a gold command into a map. So if i type -gold it will give me like 1000 gold

I've opened the map in wc3 world editor, but im not sure where to add the command..

Any help is much appreciated

Umm this is pretty easy actually, i dont remember actually how to do it but in simple words it should be an "script" icon (or a scroll if i remember corectly) in the top workstation of the Word Editor.
press it.
Rightclick and create a new Key(?) choose string (this may be incorrect)
Create a new action, (don't quite remember but should be something like "gold" or "player" or something) set the value and voila

i know this is poorly explained, but havent created a wc3 map in AAAAAAGES (2 years ago xD) but you should find a tutorial on google on how to do this allthought ;p

Okay first, press F4, this will bring up the place where you add triggers...
Then ctrl+t to add a new trigger (name it whatever)
Then ctrl+e for new event, select player and the 2nd one chat event (will already be done)
click the word text, set value to -gold and hit okay...
This will make it set to player 1 (red) to make it for everyone just repeat and change the player...

You have to go to the Trigger Editor. From there, add a trigger that reacts to user input (you can then set different conditions and stuff). Then, simply make that trigger give gold to the player that used the command.

Pretty sure that's how it works.
