Play Warcraft III in window mode... properly

If you have ever tried to play W3 in window mode you will realise that you cant scroll because your mouse just leaves the window.

Using this program will allow you to lock/unlock your mouse in the window.

This program will work on all windows, not just W3.

Now you can browse the net or whatever while you wait to respawn :)

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Right click on the icon in the task bar to specify window or change hotkey.

Lies. I can scroll in my Wc3 by default by doing what you do in that picture -- without anything extra.

Yeah, but when you playing something like dota where you cant afford to concentrate on keeping your mouse on the edge to scroll, and sure you can scroll with the arrow keys but again, with dota your left hand is on the spell hot keys and your other hand is on the mouse.

With this you can scroll normally like asif your playing in fullscreen mode.

Nvm... I fixed it -.- It's just not that straightforward to use...

Heres the instructions for anyone who may find it confusing:

Capture/Release Mouse
Press your set hotkey to capture or release the mouse.

this is dumb, just use the arrow keys with your mouse. who would want some third party application installed on this system for something as useless as this.

You dont have to install anything, the exe is 50kb and you open it when you want to use it. Is 50kb too much for your 8mb harddrive?

Sure, in a melee game its quite feasible to use the arrow keys as most of the time your just sitting there waiting for wood, in dota its constant action, your left hand is always on the hotkeys to deny, cast spells, etc.

Not to mention switching from hotkeys to arrows is quite annoying just to scroll.

Don't name this thread "play warcraft 3 in window mode...properly" name it something like "Window Mode Side Scroll Lock" the name you put kinda make people think it's how to play warcraft 3 in windows mode.
