Is there any tool to notify you when the game is started?

After I join a lan game or battle.net custom game, i'd like to get out to the desktop by alt+tab, and do other things.
Is there any tool that can notify me as soon as the game is started by the host?

yes there is..its called having a banlist..and it tells u when a game is started..here is link

Banlist is quite useful. Makes a sound when the game starts.
