war3.exe error

ok so i had it installed already and it wuz workin fine then i exit it then go back on n it does the update thing again. so i let it update only this time when it installs the patch it exits the black screen n i won't b able to bring up warcraft anymore but if i re-install it i can but i can't go online n if i redo the patch it says there is an error that it can't read it or sumthin like that i go into the files and it says that it must have been installed wrong re-install to fix ive done that 5 times now n nothin new happened

anyway try this
Warcraft 3 uses microsoft Visual C++ 8.0 runtime libraries. If the libraries are not installed in the system - w3 gives warning about the system misconfiguration.

You can download microsoft redistributable files here. Don't worry - digitally crypted by microsoft. Taken from VC5 package and legal to distribute freely.

After the installation Warcraft3 will run normally
