Regarding Latest Wc3 Patch

Due to the recent patch of Warcraft III, it now needs the C++ Runtime Library 8.0

So if it isn't running for you, download this file now!

And I release I have to post instructions for the nuums.... so:

INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Download this file, anywhere.
2) Double-click on the file and install it.
3) Open warcraft, it should work...

EDIT: It doesn't work for some people, for some reason, so if you have another solution, post here and i'll update this post ;)

spent a hole day trying to figure this out and this solution isn't helping me

im going to try this now

1. download a fresh war3.exe file and then install the runtime library

ill update this post if it works

this version seems to be a different version that the other link ozzapoo gave
because this version seemed to work for me.

1. download it
2. save it where you installed warcraft 3
3. run it and agree to all
4. open warcraft 3 frozen throne

i can go in frozen throne and all but when i try to go in bnet dis pops up img517.imageshack.us/img517/1033/111ex8.png. do u know how to fix dis?

I still can't update my WCT.. I click on Battle.net and then it start updating... but before really starting it says "Update failed"

I tried installing the new C++ thing the reg thing... still getting the same problem...
I think I will try getting an original war3.exe but where can I get it?

felipee i had this problem aswell man.
this it says update failed becasue b.net is busy with so many other people updating at the same time so just wait a fe mins and try updating again. :P

i think im missing some file after system restore >_>
