yer devil dude i know what your saying......you installed runtime library but it did nothing...i just re downloaded it and re installed it

Well, i'm having the same problem as u all, but , finally i founded a new way to fix this...

im brazilian , then , some things in english on warcraft , i probly couldnt understand few years ago , then i founded a patch which changes the languague from warcraft to the portuguese from brazil...
But when i tryed to play again today as every day, i got this problem...
Then i founded on google ur forum with some solutions for some people but for not all...

So,
I tought this new patch would check for "mods",like this "patch" for languague , then i uninstalled it , and tryed to update again...
what happened ? I HAVE UPGRADED sucefuly.

Then if u guys got this "patch" for languague(not exactly my mod , any other) or some mod (not banlist,still working), uninstall it , upgrade to 1.22,then reinstall again!

Well i'm just a player who founded a problem and a awsner at same time, i hope i could help u all guys

Dear everyone...
i just copy my warcraft from my friend it mean i haven't installed it on my computer just copy from my friend computer put it on D:\ and play it till now the patch version is 1.21 and i want to get the new patch 1.22a how could i do.
Tell me in detail.
i have try the patch 1.21d but it said failed.

my error says the checksum is missing or something like that and it says reinstall it, but i cant since my cd drive is broken....

just use an image of the cd then save it to your flashdisk or any external drive then mount it through daemon
