Need help map editeding

I've been trying to edit a few maps and change some things to make what I would think better.. I use the unprotect tut. edit them and save. that all works fine except when I acctually start playing the map nothing is saved.. Like players can't select their characters or stuff doesn't spawn.

what map are you trying to edit?

It's Fuza's Team Survival,it's a protected map, i can edit unprotected all I want to do is like block the monsters to team 2, so we'd only need 1 team, usually I can't get enough people to join or team2 sucks and loses the whole game faster than i'd want to play... and put a few items on the ground for me. =]

hmm... im not much into those team survivals but i dont think (as far as i know) you can edit them and make the edits work..
