| Registered User | Tips and Strategy Thread - For newcomers and old players People are just using this forum for hacks and hacks. This is the thread for just pure strategy and hints and tips for REAL game play of Warrock. You can't really flame me for this because: A) Forum description: Discuss anything about Warrock B) Do any of the hacks here actual work at all anymore? C) Get skills, THEN use hacks when you're bored. Some of these are really obvious to old players, but some are new. Copyright ©2006 CandyCandy2000 (Danny Zuco) Don't even try to steal this because I have a video of myself typing this up on Gamerzplanet.net <<< Good site =D I even have film of myself developing and these tactics from Warrock with my friends. This is quite sad on my part but there are many thieves in this world. THIS IS NOT A COPY AND PASTE! I HAVE MADE THIS MYSELF BASED ON MY KNOWLEDGE. Made by me CandyCandy2000, intellectual property of me. You can post this elsewhere as long as you credit me for making it. If you want to contribute e-mail me at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] Your name will be on a contributor's list. All the strategies were made by myself and friends AND HAVE BEEN TESTED TO WORK. Table-O-Contents: 1. Tips (regular) 2.Tactics/Strategies for Marien Map (more maps to come) 3. Weapons 4.Terminology 5. Credits Tips: - When reloading, immediately switch weapons then switch back and press fire button, automatic reload, and works sometimes even when you were out of ammo o_0. -For all that are new to Warrock, it is significantly different from Counter-Strike. I suggest you choose Combatant as a starting point. -Do not spend any of your newbie start off money (30k dinar) before trying out all characters and choosing one. - Rolling is the best way to dodge a sniper (Shift+Direction) -When starting off and wanting to rush, double tap W to "super" run. Beware: Bar goes out quickly - Newbies should start in mission maps rather than combat or vehicle maps. Those 2 map types are for cheap thrills (like wanting to drive something) and hackers. - Camping is the solution to many problems like being out numbered or guarding a bomb. Many people think camping is cheap, but in maps like Marien it comes with a great risk. A combatant or scout can just rush into you or nade you. Though I do not recommend that you ALWAYS camp, because that's just plain cheap =D. - Watch out for rigged game for mission maps. Always enter and take a look at the rankings. Many people use this horrendous tactic to rake in EXP and Dinars. Exit immediately because you won't stand a chance. Well, unless you hack, but then it gets obvious XD. - Aim for the torso area if your a newb while pros aim for the higher-ups. Never rush unless you know what you're getting yourself into and never be afraid to be Trigger-Happy. - Practice to have good reflexes. Sniper especially. Learn how to dodge and fire a surprise attack as well as not spinning into a circle T_T >>> =D. -Snipers, if your target is running, AIM FOR WHERE THEY ARE GOING TO IMMEDIATELY BE. Once again, never be afraid to be Trigger-Happy. -Reload when you have the chance, unless you still have 80%+ of your ammo (this excludes snipers). -USE YOUR NADES PROPERLY. Spamming it does not help a lot at all. Map Tactics (All Marien tips) Requires before-and knowledge of this map Marien: Terrorist - Whatever you do, if your a terrorist, do not plant the bomb unless you outnumber your opponents or your in a 2 vs 1 and time is running out. The bomb is like a homing signal to all enemies. - Strategies do help, but teammates are asses. Get a good team then use a strategy. One of my favorites is the storm trooper tactic. You get all your men to go to a bomb site and plant it. This is a good tactic but watch out for nades. This usually goes well in 8v8 games. Another tactic is one called Decoy Karma. Have at least 3 guys, one sacrifices himself in enemy lines while the 2 are hidden but very near. Once or while the enemy(s) takes out the front man, the first hidden member comes out and deals Karma back to the enemy(s) and then the second one jumps out too and sprays lead. This should only be used when there are 1-2 enemies (1 is better). Nade Karma is the same method, only you get the front man to go VERY close to the enemy(s) and then immediately get the two hiders to nade the spot AND THEN rush. This is tactic takes well skilled people as well as concentration. If done right, it's better then Decoy Karma. The Wall is not a recommended technique for beginners. This must be used in a 8vs8 game and requires preparation. 4 combatants, 2 medics and 2 snipers is the recommended build. The whole group moves as one. The combatant form a row and are the front man (the two in the middle attack what's in front and the two on the end attack the sides), then medics and finally snipers. Combatant are the shield against the enemy while medics are the secondary line of defense so they usual take care of the sniper points and also to heal and then the snipers scout behind them. Once you have gotten near the enemy VIA road in the middle of the map. The team divides equally (2 Cs, 1 Medic, 1 Scout) into 2 parts. The first group storms the enemy base and their sniper spot. The other group storms BOMB BASE A and plants the bomb as well as taking out people. Once the bomb is planted and the other team has secured the enemy base, the 2nd team will rush over to the bomb base and guard it. Casualty is VERY likely. Absolutely watch out for enemy's on the side and Grenaders as well as the occasional Zooka-Men. There are endless variations of this technique, but it AT LEAST requires 2 things: Skilled members and full co-operation. Relatively distance yourselves because of nades. IF done right, this is the best technique I know. -Flushing the Toilet is a trick for when the anti-terrorist decide to camp their base and their sniper points. Simple: Get a lot of combatant and sniper and Nade their asses. Nades on the sniper points and nades in the small hole where they spawn. Right away rush into the area with everyone swarming and in different directions. Anti-terrorists Backdoor Trojan (from the virus) 2-4 Combatants nade and attack the school/marien hall, BUT!, they try to postpone it while the other 4 go VIA the back hall attached to their base and raid others through the rubble or directly. Once they have the outsiders killed, the rush in through the terrorist entrance of the hall and corner the idiots left inside. Once again, there is a high risk for this maneuver as well as the casualty (most likely from the people holding off fire). Nade Karma, Decoy Karma and Flushing the Toilet all work too. The Wall, ver. Anti-Terrorist Same combination except you go the opposite way. 1st group rushes into the hall VIA stairs, 2nd group takes care of outsiders as well as snipers in the sniper point. A tip is to nade the sniper point. Once the 1st group has depleted the men in the hall, they go help the others on the sniper point or kill campers near the terrorist base. High risk unless skilled members present. Roasting by the Camp Fire High risk technique requires Excellent snipers. So this is the basic: all sniper crew taking all sniper points and then "camping" in prone position or crouch. Watch out for nades and have a quick reaction as well as a good secondary weapon. Don't be afraid to nade yourself but do it with caution. This is good for anti-terrorists because of the many sniper points near the base. Doctor Death Squad Sigh, HIGH RISK AGAIN. REQUIRES SKILLED MEDICS. Every one's a medic and they all move as a pack. Various weapons are good. Have front man medics with P30s, Secondary with Uzis or the other one (forgot what it's called). Then the 3rd line have the default for good accuracy. I suggest the squad takes the marien hall VIA stairs or main entrance. Watch out for nades and snipers. Once you get an area out. Then have 4 guard while 4 heal then switch. Distance yourselves in case of a nade attack. This is basically invincible since you all can heal yourselves Note: Can also be used by Terrorists. Zooka Nation Self-explanatory. Everyone on your team are Heavy Weapon's Unit men with RPGs. Go in a crowd and have a good secondary weapon. Watch out for nades, snipers and horrible reloading times (which can be fixed with the reload method) Same old risks and requirements. MARIEN TIPS - Don't rush if your a sniper. - Once a bomb has been planted, if you are a terrorist, GUARD IT WITH YOUR LIFE, if your an anti, then take out all enemies in sight before going in. Always have a nade ready for the rush. - Have a glock or an MP5, it really does help. Weapons Advice Combatant: Buy 30-day AK-47. Medic: 30-day P30 Engineer: Same as Medic. Sniper: 30-day SSG. This is the best for all newbie snipers. Heavy Weap Guy: RPG for mission maps or Stinger for large scale maps. Which Pistol? THIS IS IMPORTANT: Always buy a pistol first. The colt (default) sucks REALLY BAD in this game. There are really only 2 choices in this game: Glock or MP5. Glock: I find this cheap and lacks skill. Great for finishing off though. Remember: always use the right mouse-button with the glock when you are close to the enemy (super rapid fire). This has the same Damage as a colt but the speed is tremendous. Horrible accuracy on super rapid fire though. MP5: Less cheap, but requires more skill. Auto-Fire, but not as fast as a Glock, but better damage. Verdict (for me): Newbies use Glock, but for seasoned players MP5 shows you got skills and are not cheap. Terminology: Nade Grenade HQ, MB, Base, Home, Campfire, Spawning point: Where you first appear every round. Zooka Bazooka/Rocket Newbie/Newbs: In the words of The Ctrl+ALT+DEL comic ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]) : A term used to describe someone who is inexperienced to the game. They should cared for and nurtured tenderly, so that they may grow into valuable, skilled members. Noobs/Noobie: An idiot. He/She has been playing it for a while, but still sucks and will never amount to anything. He/She should be owned for they think they know how to play and gives false advice. ns Nice shot (add a "v" for very) nt Nice try (add a "V" for very) Trigger-Happy tendency to fire a lot. Can be used by newbs and noobs (not very well), or used by pros (helps a lot). Credits: Feel free to add in any strategies for other maps and other tips, you will be credited for it.
