Re: Fixing connection issues with high speed internet.

As darkstyle suggests, this guide is worthless as, if anyone actually took the time to follow it, WolfTeam2 is not on the list of suppoted games in the routers section. Without the actual list of ports to forward for WolfTeam this whole thing is pretty worthless. Any experts in the building?

Re: Fixing connection issues with high speed internet.

I am very rarely on this section. I am mainly on Gunz. Only reason I am here is I thought of checking up on how WolfTeam was doing. Anyways, I DID say the ports
Quote:
NOTE: WolfTeam is not on that site yet. So choose Rakion as the game to forward to if you don't think you can put the ports in without the guide. It uses the SAME ports as WolfTeam which are: 2300-2399 UDP.
As for me saying "hey, its Softnyx", that was just a joke, the whole thread was about port forwarding and in my post in bold it says it is a peer to peer game.

When I said it would disconnect the router, I meant randomly for around 1-2 days. Which means, you might have internet for 4 hours then it disconnects for 10 seconds, internet for 3 hours, disconnect for 10 seconds, etc. Disconnecting when changing router settings is random, and can usually be fixed by waiting a few seconds or unplugging your modem then plugging it in again. As long as you put the settings such as static IP correctly, you will have internet after port forwarding.

Please read the original post thoroughly before asking questions that have been answered.
