how does this thing work?

dad got my wow for cristmas and i haven't played it until now. ive updated it all the way to 1.12.1 so when i want to play on a private server i load it up then put acc info in. then click log in. it goes all the way up to succsess and does nothing... so i just wait and still nothing so then i click cancel and then were it said succsess now it says "Retriving Realm List" and i wait for that about 5 minets and nothing happens ? i click cancel and it goes back to the log in screen

Wait, are you trying to play on a PRIVATE server? If so, you need to set your file 'realmlist.wtf' in your WoW folder. Then find a good WoW server, put the correct realm info into realmlist.wtf, make an account in their database, then login.

Look [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for a good server to play on. Also, look for guides in the WoW Emu section.

i did trust me i know but im logging in and it says sucsess and just says that nothing happens?

why are u playin on a private server u need 2 make sure u have the right version of game, made an account, make sure its close 2 u because some lag sooo bad ( 3 years of playin private he he) and change the realmist to whatever it tell u 2,

official is ebtter more ppl less lag,

so how can i see there are no WoW hacks created ?that kind a lame becosue i really want to try some :D ;)

Hacks? There isn't any hacks that I know of, but there are bots for training.
