Q.What is World of Warcraft?
A.World of Warcraft is a Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG), it consists of 8 races, 4 of 1 faction and 4 of another faction. Those factions are Horde and Alliance. Their soon will be 10 races at when the expansion releases.

Q.Does this game have a lore?
A.Yes. If you play the Warcraft series, you'll get what is happening in World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3 is still out, buy it if you want to.

Q.How much does World of Warcraft Cost?
A.Right now about 40 bucks. You do have to pay monthly, but it is worth it. You can pay by credit card or by gamecard. Gamecards are avalible at any game store throughout the world.

Q.It says I have a 1 month free for World of Warcraft, but when I try to register a account, it says I need to add a subscription?
A.Guess what! You gotta add a subscription, when the subscription is activated, your first month activates, as soon as your month is over, it goes to your subscription.

Q.Can World of Warcraft be downloaded?
A.Indeed it can, here's a link. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] I suggest you buy World of Warcraft because it gives you a CD key, and downloading it won't.

Q.Oh meh gawd. I un-installed World of Warcraft and I wanted to install it again but I lost one of my CDs!
A.Download World of Warcraft genius.

Q.What kind of classes are in World of Warcraft?
A.Their spellcasters, warriors, and other warriors +spellcaster classes. Depends which you like. I made a guide about them, read the other sticky of guides.

Q.Is their anyway to level faster?
A.Powerlevel, but, it'll ruin your gaming expierence. Or you can stay up 24/7 and level yourself. If you powerlevel people might hate you and not let you in future party/raids.

Q.Im poor, I barely have any gold/silver/copper, where can I get them?
A.Gold farmers. Unpopular on servers. (Don't Be one). You can buy World of Warcraft gold on sites.

Q.When will they increase the player cap?
A.No information has been release when they will release the player cap. Next it'll be level 70.

Q.What are partys/raids?

A.Partys are a group of 5 that fight against mobs, do quests and instances. A party can be made by inviting one person, you'll be able to invite up to 5 people (including yourself).Raids is a 40 man party. Raids can be used to fight a town, defeat a faction leader, or doing raid instances, note that if you make a raid to do quests, you will not be able to finish that quest unless it's a raid quest.

Q.What is a instance?
A. A instance is a palce where it is filled with elite mobs, It's a seperate place that allows parties to have seperate instances. If you want me to make it clearer, here's a example. Johnny makes a party to kill Mr.Ro, Mr.Ro is in a instance. Theirs another party made by Bob. Their party is full and both partys enter the instance, Those partys do not see each other because they are seperated by the instance. Raids can do instances too.
Blue- A regular instance that a party can do.
Red- A raid instance.
Green- A battle ground instance.

Q.What are mounts?
A. Mounts is a animal that you can ride on that increases your speed. When your level 40 your able to buy a mount for around 60g+ You must also buy training. You are also able to ride some of you faction's mounts by getting exatled with that race. You are not able to ride another faction's mount.

Q.What is reputation?
A.Reputation is a system that tracks how much that tribe or whatever likes you. Exalted is the highest rep. You can earn reputation by doing quests for that tribe or whatever.

Q.Why the hell do people say LEEEEEEERRRRROOOOOOY JEEEEEENKINNNNNS all the time and run and pulls like 500 mobs?
A. Leeroy Jenkins is a popular player in World of Warcraft, he is famous for screaming that line and pulling all these mobs in Blackrock. Theirs a video in warcraft movies or you can see the video on any video site.

Q.What is PVP, PVE, PVPRPG, RP?
A.PVP is player versus player, you fight the opposing faction. Their are PVP server that allow you to fight in contested or enemy terriories, but not for PVE, PVE is player versus enviorment, they can pvp anytime by enter /pvp, they will be flagged and can be attacked by the opposing faction. RP is roleplaying. Their roleplaying servers.


Q.What is the "Honor System"?
A.The honor system is a system that records your honorable kills of the other faction. Ex. Human vs Undead, Undead kills human, undead gains honor points. Once you get the right amount of honor points (not kills) you will be promoted to the next rank. Grand Marshal for Alliance, High Warlord for Horde. Once you reach Knight and higher you will be able to acces the Hall of honor or hall of heros or whatever. These places are vendors who sell high level armour for those who accomplish the goals. Honor can be obtained by killing a Faction leader, killing a opposing faction PC, or battlegrounds.

Q.What is the Dishonor System?
A. A system that tracks your dishonorable kills. Civillians are dishonorable. Killing lower PCs will not give you dishonorable kills, but no honorable points.

Q.What is a Battleground?
A. A battleground is a place where the 2 factions face each other to win prizes and honorable points, these prizes will raise your faction with the Horde or Alliance. Their can be more then one battleground fight at a time.

Q.What are addons/UI Interfaces?
A. They are addable things to that can change your World of Warcraft UI, you can download them and put them in your interface/addons folder in your main World of Warcraft folder.

Q. I lost my WoW.EXE Do I have to reinstall WoW again to get it back?
A. NO! You can just use the repair program inside the main WoW folder.

Q.What does BWL, LFG, and those other crazy letters mean?

A. LFG- Looking for Group
WTS- Want to sell
WTB- Want to buy
LF...-Looking for [Place word here]
Mob- Enemy
NOOB, Nub, N00b, Newb- A person who does not know how to play. (I suggest you DON'T use this word)
Pull- bring the mob close to the player(s)
Omg- Oh my god
WTF- What the ****
PWN- OWNED
NINJA LOOTA- A person who steals a item that does not need or can't wear.(Like armour,weapons)
MC- Molten Core
BWL- Blackwing Liar
ZG- Zul'Gurub
ZF- Zul'Farrak
ST-Sunken Temple
DM-Dire Maul (Sometimes in Westfall Deadmines)
RFC-Ragefire Chasm
RFK-Razorfen Kraul
RFD-Razorfen Downs

Private Server FAQs

Q.What is a private server?
A. A private server is a emulated game server and can be joined. These servers are able to change the stats of the game.

Q.Where can I find a list of private servers?
A. You can check our stickies, or you can go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] .Or you may google World of Warcraft Private Servers.

Q.What do I need to play on Private Servers?
A. You need World of Warcraft, patches, addons that are able to be downloaded at the main private server site, and a account.

Q.Will I be able to play on Offical servers again?
A. Yes, you can make a backup World of Warcraft folder.

Q.What is a realmlist.wtf?
A.Ah! I see you found the special file that allows you to switch between realms. This file can be change to the offical Blizzard servers or to the Private server, you need this file to play on the Private servers and Offical Servers.

Q. Where can I make my own Private Server?
A. WoW EMU section located above the stickies.

Q.Where can I create my own No-ip adderess?

Q.I get realmlist loop, whats this problem?
A. Read the WoWEMU stickies.

Q. Monsters take forever to spawn... Whats this problem?
A. Type .spawnall, you can change the spawntime in the scripts folder.

Q.How can I make a custom monster or weapon?
A.Read the WoWEMU stickies.

Q. Bleh a lot of things are bugged or don't work, like proffesions, fall damage, skills, and other things. How can I fixed this?
A. Guess what? You can't! Unless your a EMU dev. Future EMUs will have these bugs fixed.

Q.I have lots of problems with my EMU.
A.Read the WoWEMU stickies or use the search button feature.
