I have been using my Toshiba Laptop for 4 years. The laptop gets hot easily, and sometimes it auto shutdown when get overheat. However lately, the display broke and my laptop suddenly get BSOD. After restart, the display gave distorted columns looks. If I try to start normal Windows 7, it will give BSOD directly. But I can access Safe Mode Windows, with the distorted columns. After sometimes, the display may return back to normal (distorted columns can be cleared), and I can restart to normal Windows. But the problem keeps repeating after sometimes, distorted view->restart->safe mode->etc So I believe when there is distorted columns, the normal Windows cannot be accessed. And even in Safe Mode, the distorted columns sometimes appear, but no BSOD. I wonder if anyone has this problem too with his/her Toshiba laptop. If so what did you do with it?
